These consist of papers and records of approximately 100 Catholic individuals and organizations. Among the most notable are:
  • Fenian Brotherhood Papers, 1862-1870. Irish-American nationalist society devoted to the independence of Ireland from English rule.
  • Martin Griffin, © 1804-1981. Philadelphia Catholic publisher and historian.
  • Herman Heuser, © 1872-1933. Professor at St. Charles Seminary and founder and editor of the American Ecclesiastical Review.
  • Rodigue Family, © 1743-1840s. French emigre family from San Domingue (Haiti) became merchants in Philadelphia.
